An Academic Change for the Better

Discover a New Private High School that Honors Your Teen’s Gifts and Talents

You’ve got a long list of things you’d like for your teen. At the top of that list is your desire for them to be seen and appreciated for who they are and how God designed them, with a focus on their unique qualities and potential.

At Ambassador Christian School, we want that, too. That’s why our private school in Huntersville, NC, provides a challenging college-prep education, an outstanding industrial arts program, and a four-year intentional journey designed to help students find their calling

Here’s how your teen benefits:

A personalized education
Comprehensive calling prep
excellent extracurriculars
a student-focused environment

“We want students to feel a sense of joy in their educational experience, and that ultimately comes down to the men and women who are walking the halls with them. In every high schooler’s journey, the parent’s voice wanes at some point in the process. The biggest choice you have to make as a family is who are the men and women that are going to speak into your child’s life.”

A Personalized Education

Helping each student thrive

One-on-One Attention

Because this is our first year, every student is a transfer student. Our talented teachers are prepared for this, and they will take advantage of our small class sizes to work with each student to close any gaps — and offer more challenging work to students who need it.

College-Prep Curriculum

At Ambassador Christian, we tap into your teen’s natural drive to succeed and offer a rigorous curriculum with honors,  AP,  and dual credit classes. Aside from the exceptional curriculum, teachers encourage work ethic, initiative, discipline, and hustle — key virtues that will help them succeed in all areas of life. See our ’24-’25 ACS Course Descriptions HERE.

Industrial Arts

our teen may be more gifted in hands-on learning and we find equal value in that aptitude. That’s why we’ve invested in a teaching garage, commercial kitchen, and broadcast studio, with eventual plans to build an entire facility dedicated to industrial arts. All students can avail themselves of these opportunities as electives. We require students who choose an industrial arts concentration to take an entrepreneurship class that will broaden their horizons in the workforce.

Christian Foundation

We’re an open-enrollment school, which means families need to be open to the teachings of Christ, but they are not required to sign a statement of faith to attend. Your teen will take a Bible course, attend chapel, and join a Bible study group — and we’ll focus on providing an environment of joy, kindness, respect, honor, and humility.

Comprehensive Calling Prep

Discovering what your teen is meant to do

For many people, discovering their calling doesn’t happen until well into adulthood and sometimes not at all. But what if we could help teens see their talents much early, in high school? What if they could graduate with confidence and a secure direction in life?

At ACS, unique giftedness is celebrated and individual strengths are developed by:

  • All high school students are assigned an advisor and meet weekly as a small group. These meetings are also used to disseminate college and career information pertinent to each grade level.
  • Formal assessments are completed each year for every student.

Excellent Extracurriculars

Exploring interests and talents

We will field an expected 18 sports teams in the 2024-25 school year. Our athletes will play for experienced and successful coaches, and we look forward to being accepted to play in the NCISAA organization against other top schools in North Carolina.

For your artist, ACS offers theater, choir, broadcast journalism, graphic design, performing arts, three art labs, and an impressive 2,000-seat performance hall. And we’re still building and growing.

A Student-Focused Environment

Inviting teens to influence the culture

Rarely does the opportunity present itself to build something new. ACS is that opportunity. Our 2024/2025 students will be the first ones walk the walls, create traditions, and form the culture of the school.

We’re hiring teachers and staff who are knowledgeable about their subject areas and who have hearts for welcoming students and their ideas. In fact, they have to buy into our two guiding principles:

1. Does it honor God?

2. Is it in the best interest of the students?

Together, we’ll build the excellent school we’ve always wanted.

Your search for a private high school, made simpler.

We’ll happily walk you through the ACS admissions process step by step and tell you more about our approach to education.
